Jurassic world taser spear
Jurassic Park Dino Taser Prod
I've always wanted to make one of these, but the scene is pretty dark and previously would have been really hard to ID the parts.
ll I've pretty much finished the taser prod, only a few more details left.
First I found the appropriate spear gun, manufactured by Mares, this gun comes in several forms. After doing some research regarding the proper size of the gun, I found that the Mares Jet (the current model) comes in three sizes, the longest one (72cm) is still too short to achieve the overall length of the the screen-sued gun (123cm). The model I have found is the "snub nose" which appears to be their older branding, but this worked out for me as it is the correct color combo with the correct trigger, and since the tube would need to be replaced anyways, this was not an issue.
(updated model)

After receiving the gun, I discharged and disassembled it, the yellow/green grip is just a rubber cover that removes easily.
Then it was off to home depot

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous
Diverse Representations
a lot
The main group of six campers is gender balanced and racially diverse, including Black, Latina, Middle Eastern, Japanese, and White characters. They're complex and defy stereotypes. Though adults are mostly untrustworthy in the show, the few responsible ones are Black: Dr. Mae Turner takes care of the campers, and Darius has loving parents. Female characters are athletic, daring, brave. Male characters navigate friendships, show affection, cry. There's a little body diversity, from short to tall, from thin to curvy to athletic (but no fat characters). A man with a facial scar initially comes off as stereotypically "scary" but is revealed to be on the kids' side -- though (spoiler alert) he does sacrifice himself and die, which limits the positive impact of visible disability representation. A character develops symptoms of PTSD, including a panic attack, and friends openly discuss their own mental health trials and support each other. LGBTQ+ characters are positively shown and normalized: Brooklynn mentions her two dads, and a character talks about having had crushes on boys as she works through her deepening f

Jurassic Park Shock Prod
Thanks to Cyrix9445 I learned quite a bit more about this project in his thread here:
http://www.therpf.com/f9/jurassic-park-dino-taser-prod-116158/
since I've yet to procure my own Mares spearguns and am running short on project deadline I needed to come up with an alternative. This is the build log of my first generation shock prods. Eventually in the future I will strive for a more accurate version, but for now I will work to make this current setup as close as I can get.
Anyways since I lacked some of the vital components of the original I had to get crafty. For the grip base I elected to use the NERF nightfire (or something like that) since it shared some characteristics that were very favorable and would be easy to procure.
After cleaning off a significant portion of the gun I layed it out here to get an idea of fitting. I found the 1" pvc I was hoping to use was just slightly too big to use all the way inside. 3/4" pvc happened to fit perfectly inside so I decided that I would use the 3/4" to go inside the 1" and
