When we were cooking up the idea of the World Peace snowboard, we knew that we wanted this board to be playful, snappy, and tough as nails. Immediately, we reached out to K2 Snowboarding Team Rider Antti Jussila to get some insight. After working through prototypes, dialing in shapes, sidecuts, flex patterns, camber lines, etc - Antti put the World Peace to the test, attacking anything and everything Finland had to offer.

Description
If your ideal snowboard treats the entire mountain appreciate a terrain park, feelsat dwelling sliding rails and boxes, and ventures into the streets from time to time, look no further than the all-new K2 World Peace.
Twin in both shape and flex, the World Peace features a smooth flexing single-species core profile that we engineered to lock into presses and butters with ease. Its core is constructed of 100% Aspen, a lightweight, renewable timber built to absorb shocks and take a beating. We wrap the core in a biax fiberglass--with fibers intersecting at a 90º angle--giving riders the ability to manipulate their tricks and a relaxed feel between features.
Lastly, we gave the World Peace a hard, speedy, sintered 4000 base - a material that is genuinely as tough as nails to remain up to the abuse that freestyle snowboarding dishes out.
Graphically, we worked with K2 Snowboarding Staff Photographer Marc O’Malley to help bring the Society Peace some new energy for 2024. The K2 Wolrd Peace is the perfect board to ride the entire mountain as if it were a park. Twin in both shape and flex, the World Peace features a flexible core profile designed to facilitate presses and butters. Its core is constructed of 100% Aspen wood, a lightweight, renewable wood designed to absorb shock and resist impacts. The core is wrapped with a fiberglass with fibers that intersect at a 90º angle - giving riders the ability to handle all the tricks and have a relaxed feeling between one structure and another. The World Peace has a 4000 sintered base, hard and fast, a truly resistant material to withstand the impacts that freestyle snowboarding entails. The bright, eye-catching base ensures your tricks will catch the attention of people in the park, and a clean top sheet is the perfect canvas for stickers and maybe even a bit of personal art.
