7th Heaven

The Ultimate Mod Manager for Final Fantasy VII PC.

About

7th Heaven is a mod downloader and manager for the PC version of Final Fantasy VII. Originally developed by Iros and released in 2013, it is now maintained under the Tsunamods umbrella.

7th Heaven functions by intercepting the game's requests for resources (models, music, textures, etc.) and instead supplies an alternate copy of that resource from the mods you have installed and activated.

Mods allow you to change nearly any aspect of the game, including, but not limited to: music, movies, SFX, character/NPC/enemy models, gameplay, battle/world/field textures, animations, skill/spell effects, user interface, dialogue, tweaks and cheats, and more.

7th heaven allows you to easily activate and deactivate mods using a convenient user interface without needing to permanently alter your game or mess with complicated mod file/folder installs. You can quickly try out a mod and keep it, turn it off or uninstall it completely without affecting your game installation.

Mods can be browsed and conveniently downloaded directly from within

While I love the game and the community, a few bad apples make the whole bunch look rotten. It seems like the Final Fantasy XIV team is getting ready to crack down on players. From suggesting legal action against those threatening voice actors and other community members to using mods to cyberstalk other players. Maybe, just maybe, we can all be normal for a few days or something. That’d be great.

We’re Never Going To Beat the ‘Not Normal’ Allegations, Are We? Especially if We Keep Doing Things Like This

Originally reported by PC Gamer, players have begun using Mods to skirt around the officially implemented Blacklisting feature Square Enix added to Final Fantasy XIV. While my experiences in the world of FFXIV have been nothing but positive up to this point? A few of my friends have mentioned some more… nefarious happenings that are going on in other servers. Players tend to forget that while these digital avatars may just be characters in a video game, real people are controlling them behind the screen.

To avoid giving this nasty mod any additional screen time, I won’t be mentioning it by name. But, it scrapes a player’s account ID to find not

Hello, everyone. Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida here. I'd like to handle the recent feedback and discussion among the community regarding in-game mods.

This post is not meant to target any one mod specifically, but I'd like to touch on the general subject of mods, their use, and the culture surrounding them. I thank you in advance for your understanding.

Firstly, while I am in charge of FFXIV, I am also a PC gamer, and have been for many years. I've spoken about this multiple times in the past, but my own personal stance regarding mods─that I do tolerate them─has not changed.

In the past twenty or so years, I've seen numerous positive examples of games with fan-made mods that expand upon existing gameplay.

However, these mods are generally created with a vital premise in mind: they are for personal employ only, and the individual player is responsible for the mods they use. Furthermore, the mods must not impact the core game, i

potential Sora DLC restoration mod?
I'm aware that as far as I can tell there’s no data for sora in this port of the game unlike the other unused content in the game, but I have seen people restore the PS3 only Aerith Garb for Lightning Returns on PC. I guess my question is if there’s ever been an effort made to restore that piece of content for a niche game like this?

I don’t know the first thing about modding or programming games otherwise I would’ve made such an attempt, but it intrigues me knowing how big both FF and KH are that no one has tried at least from what I’ve searched online.
