World of warcraft disconnects

Frequent Disconnects - WoW kills Internet

#0 - Aug. 16, 2007, 3:15 a.m.

This is a very odd problem, and I'm not certain what might be causing it. Any help would be appreciated. This is basically what happens:

1) Log in to Doomhammer, play anywhere from 5-45 minutes
2) WoW hangs up, as if I'm "lagging out," and at the same time, I can no longer browse the internet, use AIM, or vent
3) Finally goes to the "Disconnected from server" screen, and the internet comes back up, and all of those other functions continue to work

At that point, I will be able to login into WoW again, only to have the same thing happen half an hour later. Unfortunately, it's extremely hard to get a tracert at this point because this time that I'm actually "disconnected" is so small. This makes it impossible to do arena, as I could disconnect at any time and lose my team the game.

I'm using a Netgear WGR614v2 router. My ISP is Time Warner Cable - Roadrunner. I live in Central North Carolina. It's important to note that these disconnects - only occur - while playing WoW. I have been able to play counter-strike with zero problems. It's also important to note that I did

World of Warcraft disconnects consistently while playing online.

Hi EricDanG,

·        Do you get any error message/code when the game gets disconnected?

·        Are you able to play other online games properly?

·        Which browser you are using to play the game?

Let’s try these steps and check if it helps.

Method 1If you have any security software installed, you may disable them temporarily and check if the issue persists.

Note: After checking turn on all security software’s.

Method 2

You may download & install the latest network adapter driver from the manufacturer’s website. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Type devmgmt.msc, press Ok.

2. In device manager, expand network adapter driver > right click on it> click Uninstall.

  1. Install the downloaded drivers.

Update drivers: recommended links

Method 3

If you are facing this issue, only while playing World of Warcraft, you may also post your question in the dedicated support.

Hi,
I have a slightly annoying problem when I first load a team, I dont think its an Isboxer/innerspace problem but I am posting here to see if anybody can help me resolve the problem.

Here's whats happening...

PC turned on, addons updated via Twitch, Start innerspace.
Load team using Innerspace
Login to WOW using keyboard broadcasting (so all toons login simultaneously)
Use broadcasting to choose toons and enter game.

This is where the annoying/interesting bit comes...

After 30 seconds to 1 minute of being in game, 2 to 4 of the toons will be disconnected from the wow server and I'm taken back to the login screen.
I log in on these toons again, and then the game plays fine. I can change teams, go back to the toon select screen as often as I like and I will not be disconnected again. Its only the 1st connection that causes disconnects.

What I have tried...
Leaving WoW on the character selection screen for a few minutes after login on all toons - Disconnects occur on toon select screen
Loading WoW but only logging in to 1 toon at a time, leaving a couple of minutes for each toon - Disconnects occur
Loading WoW and leaving at login screen for a few minutes, tried both the abo

Continuous disconnects

Hey,
I’m facing same issue, and frequent WoW Crashes. Yesterday sent a ticket. How should I say, Blizzard doesn’t give a fook about it. If you look this Technical support page, you will see that there are a bunch of people with the same problem.

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Update Graphics Drivers and Windows:
Make sure your graphics drivers and operating system are fully up-to-date. Updated drivers often include optimizations that enhance game performance. For more data, see our guide here: Updating Graphics Drivers.

  2. Verify Game Files:
If using the Blizzard Battle.net launcher, you can verify the morality of your game files by selecting the game, clicking the “Options” menu, and choosing “Scan and Repair.” This process can resolve issues caused by debased or missing game files.

  3. Disable Background Applications:
Close any unnecessary background applications that might interfere with the performance of the Battle.net App or the game itself. Learn how to manage background applications here: Managing Background Applications.

  4. Run as Administrator:
Ensure the game has the required permissions by right-clicking the Battle.net App sho

Random Disconnects from WOW & Battle.net

    #0 - Sept. 9, 2008, 4:55 p.m.

I know this isn't a Warcraft III Forum, but I'm wondering if there is a coorelation between the two. While playing World of Warcraft I will get a random disconnect for no reason. I still have internet as I can pull up my web browser, and my active internet icon on my task bar is still showing connection.

While Playing the game I will see my self moving and everything else stops, and then 10 seconds later. BAM! disconnected, and troubles reconnecting occur and when I do reconnect, the same problem will happen, and its really random when it does. but frequents about onces every 30 min I would say. Now the reason I added battle.net in there is because Its still blizzard related issue. I will be playing Warcraft III and be in a game, and get disconnected from the game, but not from battle.net, or I will get disconnected from the server entirely. and this happens in any game I get into, custom or ladder.

If I can get a reply to this I would be greatly appreciative.
