Camping World Expands with Lazydays Acquisition in Arizona

Camping World Holdings, Inc. has completed its acquisition of Lazydays in Surprise, Arizona, marking the latest step in its expansion strategy.

The purchase, including assets and real estate, is part of a broader acquisition plan expected to be finalized in the coming weeks.

Marcus Lemonis, chairman and CEO of Camping World, emphasized the acquisition’s strategic importance, noting that it aligns with the company’s efforts to strengthen its market position.

“This is the first of multiple locations anticipated to close in the coming weeks. These locations bring top OEM brands, incremental market share opportunity, and a more traditional RV product mix that aligns with our strategic priorities,” Lemonis stated in a press release.

Camping World’s continued expansion reflects the broader consolidation trend within the RV dealership sector.

With the increasing number of mergers and acquisitions, independent dealerships may face heightened competition from large-scale operators with greater resources and national reach.

Camping World now has converted four Lazydays stores to its brand, including locations in Surprise, Arizona; Murfreesboro, Tennessee; and Vancouver, Washington.
