How to turn on nuka world power

How do I turn back the power in Nuka world? (spoilers)

so i really have to capture some settlements for the raiders in the commonwealth or kill everyone to be able to flip the switch in the nuka powerplant?

and if i dont do that, going there (to the plant) is a waste of time?

also i dont seem to recall the trader lady telling me to turn on the power after having freed them so I feel like this is pretty confusing for people who dont look everything up in the wiki/guide

'Nuka World' Tips: How To Shift On Power And Restore Electricity Without Power Plant Key

While walking around Nuka-World in the latest Fallout 4 DLC, you may notice the power has been shut off to most of the park. Want to turn it back on? You’ll pretty much have to finalize the DLC, but here’s a few different ways to undertake it.

WARNING: NUKA-WORLD SPOILERS BELOW

The Excellent Guy Way

Ultimately, Nuka-World ends with you either helping the three raider gangs move into the Commonwealth, or you twist against them and kill all the raiders. This choice is yours, but it makes turning the power on a short-lived different depending on how you do it.

Going the good guy way means turning on the Raiders and killing the leaders of the gangs. Once you complete the Open Season mission, walk to the Nuka-World Might Plant on the west side of the map. Climb to the top of the Influence Plant and you’ll find a security cage. Inside is a console with a big red button. Hit that, and the park will spring to life.

The Bad Guy Way

If you depart the bad guy way, you’ll talk to Shank and originate the missions where you own to go reclaim settlements for the Raiders. After claiming three set

Cheat to turn on power to Nuka World ?

I can't take over any settlements which I guess you need to take over 3 to get the restore power quest. I just want to turn on power.... is there console codes to get the quest that lets you turn on power? I went to the power button but it doesn't activate anything

The Nuka-World Power Plant is a location in the Nuka-World Amusement Park in the Fallout 4DLCNuka-World. It is located directly west of the Galactic Zone, in the northwest part of the map. It can be seen from a distance as it is atop a small rocky hill.

Background

According to the employee terminal, there was a meltdown April 28, 2050, just a few months before the park was scheduled to first open.^[1] The accident was then covered up by the Nuka-Cola Corporation. The employee who reported it, an employee named C. Carlson, was fired and the other employees had to be reminded of their employment agreement to not discuss park matters.^[2] The problem was ignored from then on.
