ALIEN RPG: The THREE WORLD EMPIRE and H.M.S. YAMATO

Military strategy and philosophy have many parallels between the age of sea and sail, and the age of space and displacement drives. Control of the trade links and the waters, or inter-planetary space, around the trading hubs is key to mercantile success. With that comes wealth and resources, allowing a further strengthening of control, in turn bringing even greater wealth and resources. If you can tap into that feedback loop of power and money then success is assured.

It is no surprise that the Three World Empire follows this philosophy to the exclusion of all others. Britannia and Japan, the leading states in the 3WE and two nations with deep seafaring traditions, only have to look back to the glory days of their Earth-bound maritime history to see what a prosperous future they can have, if they re-create that history in space.

And that is what they have done. The 3WE’s military strategists combined the Royal Navy’s “over-whelming strength” strategy – make sure your navy outnumbers the navies of your three biggest rivals, combined – and Japan’s “Kantai Kessen” or Decisive Battle Doctrine that relies on “an intimidatin

Three World Empire ERT

So I have just about as much access to these people or things as you, lol. So I’ve got no plan about an original designer nor if the original sprites are usable. Let’s just tick off no for both then, as in no they aren’t in the files, and no the original creator won’t be competent to help or authorize their use.

So then we come down to making fresh sprites. I personally don’t know if I’d be in to whip up 10 variations of sprites for 10 different roles. So let’s start of small and perform our way up.

We want an ERT, the ERT consists of? (I assume The Royal Marines)

This would include likely:

Engineer
Medic
Sharp Gunner
Rifleman
Squad Leader

Something appreciate this ^

Then it just comes down to equipment. What is the Royal Marine Commandos most likely to use in their arsenal? We’ve established they’re somewhere between USCM and Weyland. So likelyhood is they’re using patented Wey-Yu equipment that are more or less a generational handmedown. As a corporation dealing in arms manufacturing, and military contracting, you would likely give your men the best that you can offer and reserve it for them only. (That way if you ever find yourself needing to kill some

Three World Empire

Overview

Formed in 2088, the Three World Empire (3WE) was a federation of nations created by the joining of the United Kingdom and Japan, as well as allied nations including India, Indonesia, and Australia. Following the formation of this federation, the Japanese Yutani Corporation purchased and merged with the British Weyland Corporation leading to the 3WE’s status as the most significant economic force in Sol. The name, Three World Empire, is drawn from the first three worlds colonized by humanity: Earth, Mars, and Titan.

Supported by the technological advances of the Weyland-Yutani Corporation, the Three World Empire quickly amassed the largest and most advanced naval fleet that humanity had ever seen. These advances in Starflight allowed members of the 3WE to be the first humans to leave the cradle of Sol in search of new homes among the stars. As a result, the 3WE has colonized a plurality of all known resource-rich and naturally habitable worlds. These early colonies would come to be known as the Core Systems.

Due to their heavy reliance on the navy, the Three World Empire can ill afford to field a large standing army like the United Amer

Welcome to Alien RPG: Episode 24. Halifax makes its way to Uzuno.

Uzuno is large enough to be a city. An enormous Atmos sits in the middle of the colony to accommodate the estimated 25,000 people within. There are multiple districts that house the various companies and government entities within the Three World Empire. Weyland-Yutani stands tall in one of those districts with a multi-level building displaying the Wey-Yu logo and “Building Better Worlds” tagline everyone is familiar with.

The colony’s entire border appears to be under the protection of military personnel. The thick wall with strategically placed heavy artillery surrounds the colony to prevent anything from getting in or out. Surveillance assures that if either measure were to fail, someone would know immediately.

The Three World Empire

Uzuno is a government colony sitting on top of a gigantic platform. The streets are heavy-duty metal mesh and sit right above the ground. The material keeps unwanted fauna from making unwelcome appearances from below.
