November 2025 at Disney World: Crowd Calendar & Info

Our guide to November 2025 at Walt Disney World features a free crowd calendar, tips for when to visit & avoid, weather, modern attraction openings & closures, Thanksgiving & Christmas info, and more. We also cover what’s happening at Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios.

In general, the beginning of November will be a continuation of what’s described in our Guide to October 2025 at Walt Disney Planet. Crowds will remain somewhat elevated as Halloween quickly transitions to Christmas. However, attendance won’t be even remotely as Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Nevertheless, November is a nice month to visit Walt Disney World due to mild weather, moderate crowds much of the month, and the start of the holiday season! There’s a ton going on at Walt Disney World in November, with festivals at EPCOT, Christmas offerings in the other three parks, Disney Springs, resort hotels, and more.

We’re big fans of Walt Disney World in November. It used to be when we took our annual Christmas trip to WDW, and there are plenty of days and even entire weeks that aren’t crazy-busy. Nov

November at Disney World is when the parks swap out pumpkins for “pine” trees practically overnight, and suddenly, you’re walking into a full-blown holiday paradise.

While crowds do surge during this period (especially around Thanksgiving) there’s plenty to love about visiting in November if you’re prepared.

Here’s everything you need to know about visiting Disney World in November, including crowd trends, pricing, and the best times to go.

30-Second Summary

  • Crowds: Heavy around Veterans Day weekend (Nov. 8-11) and Thanksgiving week (Nov. 23-30). Mid-month is the best window for lower crowds.

Disney World Crowds Will Soon Spike Due to Sneaky Holidays

November and December are two of the busiest months of the year at Walt Disney World. School recesses, long weekends and full week breaks cause crowd levels to spike, and can catch guests by surprise. We’re anticipating dates with high wait times in Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios–the busiest since Easter!

We often refer to the holiday season as having roller coaster crowd levels, because these few months have low lows and high highs. Regardless of this and whether you visit during the valleys or peaks, be prepared for elevated wait times by historical standards–the ‘low lows’ may not be quite as uncrowded as you’re expecting.

The highs are driven by the obvious. People having time off work and school districts having student holidays, and wanting to visit Florida during one of the most pleasant times of year–and Walt Disney World during the best seasonal event. The lows are essentially the inverse of that–due to the proximity of the aforementioned breaks, families are less likely to pull their kids out of school to travel during those windo is veterans day busy at disney world

Veterans Day week November 2021

FOGMELA1

Hey there. We are thinking about going to WDW the week of Veterans Day (actual park days Monday 11/8 to Friday 11/12) or the following week (Monday 11/15 to Friday 11/19). According to touring plans crowd calendar, both weeks are very similar (1 point diff the later week) but I’ve read other blogs that say the veterans week holiday is busy. The hotel we love staying at is a better deal the first week. Any insight? We also want to make sure holiday decorations are up. Thanks

When is the best time to visit Walt Disney World? The answer is – it depends. There are a variety of factors that can affect crowds. It’s true, ANY day is a great day to visit Walt Disney World, but some days do have lighter crowds than others. Here are some examples of factors that affect crowd levels:

HOLIDAYS

Holidays affect crowds in Walt Disney World, with some more impactful than others. Holidays which include a long weekend (Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, and Veterans Day) result in increased crowds vs. surrounding weeks but are not overly impacting. Independence Day, Easter, and Thanksgiving bring in moderate to heavy crowd levels, and the weeks before and during Christmas and New Year’s Eve bring significant crowds which frequently result in park closures due to the parks reaching maximum capacity. If you are flexible with your travel dates, avoiding any of the above holidays will result in visiting during less-busy times at Walt Disney World!
